3d noob continued final blog post: 3d not as noob?

I wanted my final piece to be something I could rest on a countertop or table and it would look actually good. I am happy to say that I did that and I'm proud and grateful for what I've gotten out of this project.
One thing I would change in the future- I would see exactly how big I can print my objects and then go bigger. This would make all of the small details standout better and have a higher resolution.

I am currently working on learning blenders 3d modeling software so  that I can sculpt "YuYa" an original character that would hold this weapon. In the process of this I've also realized blender is what I will be using for further developing my 2d animations as it is an actually awesome program. I cant believe I was too intimidated to install it until now lol.

I really should have documented my work better, especially taking better photos and with my access to the documentation studio.
